Discussion... 
at 20z...the surface anlysis indicated that a cold front extended 
from northeastern Missouri southwest through northeastern 
Oklahoma to east central New Mexico. This front will continue to 
track southeast tonight...moving into the northwestern part of 
North Texas after midnight. A few thunderstorms will occur before 
midnight north of I-20...with rain chances spreading southeast 
overnight. Brief heavy rain and lightning will be the main 
threats with these storms. The front should be near a 
Bonham....dfw...Comanche line around daybreak...and through the 
southern zones by late Sunday afternoon. Scattered thunderstorms 
may produce locally heavy rain. The cloud cover and precipitation 
will keep temperatures much cooler Sunday with highs only in the 
upper 80s northeast while south of the southern zones will see 
middle to upper 90s. Rain chances will continue most Monday and 
Monday night area wide and linger into Tuesday across the south. 
Afterwards...the upper ridge will start to build eastward...and 
temperatures should warm back to near or above seasonal normals 
from midweek into the weekend.
