An upper low northwest of Kauai is producing heavy showers and
isolated thunderstorms over all Kauai and Oahu waters...the Kaiwi Channel...and over Maui leeward and windward waters. The showers and isolated thunderstorms are moving east to northeast at 10 to 15 mph...creating locally gusty winds...higher seas...and reduced visibilities. Dangerous lightning strikes will also occur. These conditions are expected to last through the night. |
