An upper level low located northwest of Kauai is producing
numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms over the coastal waters surrounding Kauai...Oahu and the islands of Maui County this morning. The showers and isolated thunderstorms are moving toward the northeast at 10 to 15 mph. These showers and thunderstorms are capable of producing locally heavy downpours...strong gusty winds...rough seas...and reduced visibilities. Dangerous lightning strikes may also occur in the vicinity of the thunderstorms. These conditions are expected to last through the early morning hours. |
