Mobile Bay-
Synopsis
Tropical Storm Fay located on the East Coast of Florida just north of Cape Canaveral will move slowly northwest through tonight. Fay is forecast to weaken gradually as it moves inland over the next 36 hours...moving across the Florida Panhandle and into southern Alabama Sunday. On the current forecast track...increasing northerly winds will affect the Gulf coastal waters of Alabama and the western Florida Panhandle this weekend. A Small Craft Advisory may be needed by the weekend. All mariners and coastal interests should keep a close eye on this weather situation as small changes to the forecast track of Fay...especially a shift to the south...will have a significant impact on the forecast.
