Synopsis For Baffin Bay To Rio Grande Out 60 Nm-
Synopsis
A dense fog advisory remains in effect for the adjacent coastal waters of deep south Texas due to persistent dense fog. The fog is expected to dissipate around midnight tonight as a cold front passes through the Lower Texas coast and increases winds offshore. However...these increasing winds will also increase seas...and a Small Craft Advisory will begin at midnight tonight for the Gulf of Mexico waters east of Padre Island. The Small Craft Advisory will last until noon Friday... with winds and seas expected to decrease during the afternoon hours of Friday. More benign marine conditions are forecast for the weekend and very early next week...but seas may increase to Small Craft Advisory criteria on Tuesday.
