... Strong thunderstorm moving through the peninsula and into the
Lower Middle peninsula...

At 555 PM EDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a
strong thunderstorm 5 miles west of Williamsburg... moving northeast
at 20 mph. The strong thunderstorms will be near Ewell at 605 PM
EDT... Skimino at 610 PM EDT... Camp Peary at 615 PM EDT... York river
State Park at 620 PM EDT... Allmondsville at 625 PM EDT... Clay Bank at
630 PM EDT.

Wind gusts to 40 mph... small hail... heavy downpours and frequent
cloud to ground lightning are expected in the path of these storms.
If you hear thunder... you are close enough to be struck by
lightning. Move into a safe shelter before these storms reach your
area. Remain indoors until the storms have passed.
