 Winter Storm Warning  Statement as of 3:26 am EST on February 12, 2016


... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 7 am this morning
to midnight EST tonight...

* areas affected: northeast North Carolina.

* Hazards: snow... possibly mixed with sleet at times near the
coast.

* Accumulations: 2 to 4 inches.

* Temperatures: lower to mid 30s today... falling into the lower to
mid 20s tonight.

* Timing: snow will overspread the area by noon and continue
through this evening... impacting the evening commute.

* Impacts: roads will become snow covered and hazardous. Travel
will be impacted Friday.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow is
expected or occurring. This will make travel very hazardous or
impossible.
