The NOAA all hazards radio transmitter in Dozier Alabama... which
usually broadcasts on a frequency of 162.55 mhz... is currently off
the air. Technicians have been contacted and are currently working
on the problem. The NOAA all hazards radio transmitter in Greenville
also remains down at this time. Technicians are also working on this
problem.

While these broadcasts are unavailable... persons in
Conecuh... Covington..and Escambia (al) counties can get their
weather information from:

Wng-646 out of Brewton... transmitting on 162.475 mhz.
