at 15z...or 8 am PDT...a 1031 mb high was centered 900 nm NW of Point Conception while a 996 mb low was moving eastward through southern Utah. This pattern will shift eastward through early next week...as high pressure builds into northern Nevada. As a result...the strong NW flow we have seen over the last few days will weaken tonight...then shift to the N to NE. Some local spots will see gusty NE flow Mon and Tue morning. |
