warning 316.Large high 1036hpa near 42s 133w, extends ridge northwest

to 32s 170w, both slow moving. Southwest of a line 43s 170w 49s 153w

55s 141w: northwest 25kt, with gales as in warning 315 318, area

moving northeast 10kt. Poor visibility in rain within 60 miles of

front expected through 40s 170w 48s 165w 56s 165w by end of period.

West of front: southwest 25kt. South of 47s, west of 161w: heavy

westerly swell developing by 220000z.

slow moving. North of ridges and 35s: easterly 20 to 30kt. Heavy
