wind : anti-cyclonic (counter-clockwise) 05 to 15 in the east at
first, otherwise N to NW 20 to 30 but SW to W 10 to 20 in
the extreme west spreading to the central areas.
Vis : moderate in showers in extreme South-West.
Sea state: 2.5 to 3.5m reaching 4m in the west, with mainly S to SW
swells.
Durban east (25s/32.5s, East Coast/55e)
wind : se 15 to 20, otherwise E to NE 15 to 25 reaching 30 in
the extreme west.
Vis : good but poor in rain and showers in the extreme west.
Sea state: 2.5 to 3.5m reaching 4.0m in the east, SSW swells.
Mozambique channel:
wind : E to se 05 to 15 in the south and west reaching 20 at
first, otherwise variable 05.
Vis : moderate in showers and thundershowers in places in the
south.
Sea state: 2.5 to 3.0m in the south reaching 3.5 to 4.0m at first,
with SSE swells.
Madagascar east:
wind : se 15 to 20 reaching 25 in places.
Vis : moderate to poor in rain and showers in places.
Sea state: 2.5 to 3.5m with SSW swells.

wind : SW to W 15 to 25 at first, otherwise NW 15 to 25 reaching
30 at time from the west.
Vis : good becoming moderate in showers in the west, spreading
eastwards.
Sea state: 3.0 to 4.0m reaching 5.0m in the extreme south, with SW
