Synopsis
High pressure exits the Southern Plains tonight then strengthens and builds southeast into the lower Mississippi River valley on Thursday with offshore winds increasing over the marine area. The high pressure system moves eastward into the southeast by Friday and dominates the weather pattern over the east and southeast United States through the weekend. A generally moderate easterly flow continues through the week. Meanwhile...a low pressure system will move northward across the western Gulf late in the weekend and into the first of next week with a moderate to strong southeast flow continuing.
