Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters
A vigorous upper level disturbance will move across the region tonight. As a result...the surface low pressure system near the offshore waters will move toward the northeast overnight. A moderate to strong offshore flow will develop in its wake tonight and persist through Saturday morning. The offshore flow will decrease Saturday afternoon and become onshore Sunday. Onshore flow will gradually increase through Monday ahead of another cold front which will move through the coastal waters on Tuesday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms can be expected ahead of the front. A strong offshore flow will develop in the wake of this next front.
