Synopsis
A weak cold front will move through the marine areas between midnight and sunrise Wednesday morning. The winds behind the front will increase to near 20 knots as it passes...small craft advisories may be needed briefly Wednesday morning. Conditions will improve quickly with lighter winds and seas for the rest of the week. There is a chance for showers and isolated thunderstorms moving across portions of the marine areas Tuesday and Tuesday night as the front moves through the area. Some of these storms may produce gusty winds and occasional cloud to surface lightning.
