The marine synopsis has been replaced by a technical synopsis.

There is a new 3 to 5 day extended forecast. A marine weather

statement will be issued when the situation requires further

explanation or more detailed description. Marine information on the

weather office web Page has also been enhanced with a map

highlighting areas where warnings are in effect.
