| Synopsis For Massachusetts And Rhode Island Coastal Waters A frontal boundary will continue to fluctuate north and south across New England and provide a focus for showers and tstms late today and tonight. A few tstms may contain strong wind gusts this evening. One or more weak low pres areas will swing a trailing cold front into or through southern New England on Tue...but this front will then likely stall along the S coast. Another area of low pres may move to New England Wed or Thu. Mariners should monitor advisories by the Tropical Prediction Center for Tropical Storm Cristobal. Cristobal is forecast to pass se of Nantucket Mon night or Tue. This storm will likely increase swells in the coastal waters Mon and Tue...and possibly produce squalls across the offshore waters south of New England and Georges Bank.
