Synopsis...a weak upper trough will brush northern Utah tonight...with 
the associated cold front pushing through northern Utah. Another 
weak disturbance will affect northern Utah on Sunday.

Discussion...winds are decreasing rapidly this evening with 
cooling and reduction of microburst activity. Will allow the High 
Wind Warning for the west deserts to expire at 900 PM. A dry cool 
front is approaching Salt Lake City with a wind shift to the north 
occurring across the west deserts and rapid drop off of winds. 
Showers and thunderstorms will be restricted to the eastern half 
of the area for Saturday. Only minor updates planned for this 
evening.

Aviation...south winds increasing slightly as a dry cool front 
approaches. A wind shift to northwest at about 10 knots expected 
at about 330z.

Fire weather...winds beginning to subside and red flag warning 
will expire at 1000 PM. Fire Weather Watch continues for Saturday 
for gusty winds and low relative humidity for southern Utah.
