NWS Forecaster Discussion
064 fxus64 ksjt 052043 afdsjt Area forecast discussion National Weather Service San Angelo Texas 343 PM CDT Sat Jul 5 2008 Synopsis... not much change in the short term with weak srly flow continuing over wc Texas...as well as an upper high over the SW U.S. Will begin to see the main upper high push to the east over the Southern Plains creating a weak somewhat Erly upper flow by late tomorrow over wc Texas. This will keep moisture from propagating too far into our area...and keep any probability of precipitation for the most part of the southern 1/3 of the area over the northern Edwards Plateau and the Northwest Hill country if any for the beginning of the week. By middle week for Wednesday/Thursday time frame...upper flow becomes weaker keeping less activity out of the area. This will allow for some moisture and storm activity to filter further north as some decent flow will set up off of the Gulf into the southern portions of Texas. Extra moisture will keep cloud cover around and temperatures moderated for the next few days. && Preliminary point temps/pops...
