Synopsis... 
a frontal boundary will remain stalled over southern New England 
as weak areas of low pressure ride along it through tonight. A 
cold front will approach the region from the north Sunday night 
and Monday and will stall over southern Quebec Monday night. Low 
pressure will track east along this boundary Tuesday and a 
trailing cold front will cross the area on Wednesday. High 
pressure will slowly build east from the Great Lakes Thursday and 
Friday.

Near term /through today/... 
models are agreeing on keeping system south of the forecast area. 
This will leave US with partly to mostly cloudy south and partly 
to mostly sunny central and north. Did put a slight chance of a 
shower in southern zones. Mav temperatures look good.

Short term /tonight/... 
tonight some clouds remain southern zones and mostly clear north. Slight 
chance of showers coastal zones and over the waters. Used mav temperatures. 
Patchy fog will once again form. With dewpoints rising expected 
fog to be more widespread.

Long term /Sunday through Friday/... 
weak low pressure tracks along stalled frontal boundary Sunday and 
Sunday night bringing a chance of showers to southern New 
Hampshire zones Sunday night. Expect any precipitation to be light and 
spotty as forcing rather limited. 


Instability returns to the region on Monday along with the 
humidity. Region will be in the middle of a squeeze play with a 
cold front approaching from the north and a shortwave passing to 
the south. Looks like typical Summer weather with afternoon 
showers and thunderstorms. 


Cold front stalls over southern Canada Monday night and the region 
remains in the warm and humid air for Tuesday. Best instability 
becomes suppressed to the south of the region but wouldn't be 
surprised to see some scattered convection in southern zones. 


Low pressure tracks east along stalled frontal boundary over 
southern Canada Tuesday night and a trailing cold front crosses 
the region on Wednesday bringing another round of showers and 
thunderstorms to the region. Front moves offshore Wednesday night 
and high pressure will bring sunny and cooler weather back into 
the region for Thursday and Friday.

short term...fog is an issue early this morning with visibilities up and 
down along with ceilings. Fog will lift just after sunrise with VFR 
conditions through the day. Patchy fog returns tonight with IFR 
possible. 


Long term...VFR Sunday. Some MVFR ceilings possible Monday morning 
before improving in the afternoon. Generally VFR Monday afternoon 
through Wednesday with isolated MVFR ceilings and visibility in 
scattered thunderstorms.

Long term...winds may approach Small Craft Advisory levels on Wednesday.
